This is closely linked with weight gain. For several reasons, doctors and health experts advise that Ramadan fasts should be broken with low-fat foods. Research suggests that fasting can lead to weight gain at the end Islamic holy month. A person can lose weight easily and keep their body healthy by making simple changes to their daily routine. You may feel weak and tired if you avoid food and drink all day. Sugar in the evening can give you energy, but it can make you feel tired and sluggish. Sugar is high in calories, and excessive sugar intake can lead to weight gain. Be mindful of how much sugar you eat when you break your fast.

You can choose to eat healthier than fried food and sugary delights. Complex carbs, such as vegetables and fruits, can help you feel fuller for longer periods of time. To feel fuller and avoid overeating, you should eat more of these foods. Healthy foods are low in calories, which will help you maintain a healthy weight.

Do not eat your dinner fast at the end of the day. Slow down, eat small portions and enjoy each bite. Fast eating can cause your brain to not recognize when your stomach is fuller and you will eat more than usual. Slowly chewing and enjoying every bite allows the brain to recognize the signs of fullness.

Do not eat the entire meal when you break your fast during Iftar. When breaking the fast, eat a small meal and then have dinner about an hour later. You may consume more calories if you eat everything at once. Make sure you have the right balance of carbs, fats, and vegetables in your dinner.

Drink more water to compensate for the 12-hour fast. A person should drink at least 2 to 3 liters of water per day. Try to make up for it during non-fasting. You may feel hungry at the end of the workday if you don’t get enough water. To flush out toxins from your body, water is essential.

After breaking your fast or eating dinner, don’t immediately get into bed. To burn calories and prevent fat accumulation, it is best to move around. It is a good idea to move a little after breaking your fast in order to help digest the food and avoid bloating.
